The Phoenix depicted in this brooch is in the act of rising, jut like all of us. The coals and ashes of its past are still clinging to its body and wings, as represented by its darkened body color and the ombre diamonds on its wings. But the Phoenix is throwing off the coals of the past, its gem encrusted wings flutter en tremblant with hope, it looks ahead, and its feathers are aglow. Anyone that wears this brooch will be showing the world that they hope for a brighter future and are working on making the dream of a better tomorrow a reality. The en tremblant wings of the Phoenix Brooch can flutter with the movement of the wearer or a gentle touch due to a handmade mechanism of springs and columns hidden beneath the emerald. Furthermore, the individual tail feathers of the brooch can adjust to the shape of wearer because each is set on an unseen hinge inside the Phoenix. The back of the Phoenix brooch is finished in smooth black lacquer with a hidden ruby eye. This piece is one of a kind. Made in NYC.

Marissa has beautiful jewelry! I was disappointed with my purchase however. I bought an 14kt yellow gold Marla Aron lock. It arrived & was yellow gold material & ROSE gold closure! I attempted reaching out to them & no response! I'm a first time customer & purchased an expensive piece of jewelry & was so disappointed! She does have a beautiful collection, but, won't recommend buying items there! Thank you
