Bon Anée

The world of fashion lives at the speed of light. What is in today is out tomorrow, and the cycles are never ending; then in what seems like the blink of an eye 2011has begun and there is so much to be excited for. We are proud to announce our 35th year in the business of style; what started as a small storefront has blossomed into an endless expanse of chic possibilities. Throughout this journey I have been reminded of a quote from designer Franco Moschino, “without passion fashion is just another business.” Here’s to a wonderful past, present, and future!

A Colorful Escape

Break out of the winter chill by sending your wardrobe on a style vacay; and while spring hasn’t quite sprung it will definitely liven up your mood and closet. We love the idea of afternoon shopping and a light lunch in an Yves Saint Laurent silk sleeveless top with contrast piping. It is bright, beautiful, and perfectly on trend paired with Giambattista Valli silk wide leg pants, and an Yves Saint Laurent wide suede belt. And, of course, what’s a get away without some time on the sand? The Marc Jacobs Palm Beach crossbody bag boasts a beautiful shell encrusted with gems any treasure hunter would be happy to find. Finish the look with Oscar de la Renta three strap heeled sandals.

Stud Finder

Planning and executing your accessories wardrobe for the seasons should be carried out in a way similar to decorating your home. You wouldn’t just start knocking around looking for a space to throw any old piece of art up on the wall; you would logically select a piece suited to your taste, and use the necessary tools to hang said object. The same applies to choosing the right accessories for you. The edgy, rock aesthetic of classically feminine shoes and handbags covered in strategically placed studs is a great way to break into the New Year with something to say. Pair the 3.1 Phillip Lim studded bow handbag with a flirty dress, or suit up in the Moschino studded gladiator kitten pump and really show some attitude.

Uncorking a New Decade

Recognized by Wine Spectator as the most successful charity wine auction, The Naples Winter Wine Festival brings the world’s finest vintners and chefs together with wine collectors and philanthropists for a three-day gala, here, in picturesque Naples, Florida. Proceeds from the Festival benefit the Naples Children & Education Foundation, whose vision is to make a profound and sustaining difference in the quality of children’s lives. Since its inception in 2001, the Naples Winter Wine Festival has raised more than $82.5 million for children in need. This year’s event runs from January 28th-30th, 2011 and is sure to be more fabulous than the last.
