Cédric Charlier Resort 2014

Photographer Jackie Nickerson’s “Another Africa” series informed Cédric Charlier’s sharp resort collection. The designer drew several prints from Nickerson’s work, including black-and-white landscapes he used for gathered knee-length dresses and skirts. Colorful tonal knit tops added a contrast to these stark looks. Charlier also played with textures that had a rich feel, such as a stretch faux leather for a green shirtdress.
