Givenchy

Hubert de Givenchy founded his namesake fashion house specializing in Haute Couture and ready-to-wear in 1952. No sooner did it open than that Givenchy clothing earned a reputation for breaking with the fashion codes of its time. Audrey Hepburn, as the designer's muse, accompanied him in inventing a style that would redefine standards of elegance, giving the brand its nickname of the "enfant terrible of Haute Couture". Today, the Givenchy designer house is synonymous with aristocratic elegance, sensuality and fresh romanticism. Givenchy's legacy continues through the modern approach of its British Artistic Director, Clare Waight Keller, who has a  flair for translating cultural undercurrents into high fashion.
