Versace Resort 2014

After fall’s spiked, studded and vinyl “Vunk” collection, Donatella Versace took a sweet turn for resort with a playful maritime vibe. Versace mixed prints, showing a cropped turquoise sailor-stripe cardigan with a long gingham skirt. Flared pants in a pretty micro-flower pattern were teamed with a gingham bra top done with bold, white Medusa buttons. In the case of a cutout swimsuit, she combined the flowers and vichy checks to striking effect. Her embellishments were just as enticing, like a tuxedo jacket with a sparkly lapel and a sexy dress covered in citrine paillettes. A boxy, black paillette jacket with a gold sequin trim, which mimicked the look of a jean jacket, added to the fun.
