Apparently pink is the new black again (or navy for quotable Diana Vreeland purists). Maybe designers had bambini on the brain because they coated runways with all shades of the girly hue from the palest of baby pink to Barbie brights, and enough variety to fill a prize-winning peony or rose garden. Even those who never drive out of neutral went bold in experimenting with every fashion category and fabric rather than just a touch of the trend. Considering many wearers probably haven’t worn a full-length pink gown since prom, and never in a million years thought they’d invest in a pink winter coat, it’s going to be a rosy season to remember.
