Runway Review | Belstaff Pre-Fall 2014
Texture and patterns were at the core of Martin Cooper’s Belstaff collection, which combined the brand’s adventurous racing core with an urban sophistication.
A cotton and wool Perfecto jacket, which offered a new take on tweed, was paired with a flared bonded-wool miniskirt, while a round-collared motorbike jacket, matched with a straight leather miniskirt, came in an innovative checkered woven fabric with a lacquered finish. Cooper also went for an aviator-inspired look with a zippered cashmere jacket worn with roomy cotton pants.
