Print Jam

While Nicole was busy finalizing our Spring 2012 Brunello Cucinelli order (which you will hear all about soon, we promise ), the rest of Les Trois was going print crazy! After seeing our Blumarine dress featured in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar
we decided to jam on prints for this week’s blog. So whether you are fierce in animal prints or flirty in floral, there is a print to suit everyone’s personality. It’s all about making a statement and challenging yourself to create a unique and personal look.
There is no denying floral prints are fun, but can often times come off as very Spring and very girly. Don’t be mistaken, floral prints aren’t just for your sweet summer dresses they can also work for Fall. And while we love floral print in its summer state, as showcased above, the dark and cryptic blossoms we saw at the Fall 2011 Collections of Lanvin and Valentino are a must have.

This Fall the runways were transformed into a fashion jungle. Thankfully, leopard prints continue to reappear each season but our current obsession is leopard print shoes! Pairing catty prints with a rather neutral palate will send your outfit to a new level of fierce.

We are a tribe called dress. Native inspired patterns are invading the runways in a big way and we are loving it. Wear a body con dress in an all over pattern and pair it with an equally outrageous bag. Or get in the mix and pair similar tribal patterns in varying sizes because it’s playful and works for multiple seasons; just throw on leggings and knee high boots or booties for fall.
