Oliver Peoples Unveils Collaboration With Carole Sabas

NEW SPECS: Oliver Peoples unveiled new custom sunglasses designed in collaboration with the writer Carole Sabas of “The Fashion Friendly Guides” in Miami Beach Thursday morning to coincide with a Miami edition of her guide. The booklet came together after a successful collaboration between the brand and the writer on a guide centered around Los Angeles. The sunglasses are a special edition of its so-called Braverman style, which carry rainbow-mirrored lenses. Sabas was asked about the differences between L.A. and Miami. “Los Angeles is more bohemian, creative and very about being yourself in this crazy natural life, connected with some new age philosophy,” she said. “Miami is all about being fancy, very put together. They’re really obsessed with Versace and these very Nineties, crazy fashion stories. You can see people are very dressed up and it’s 10 a.m.”
