All Hallows Eve is creeping up slowly but surely, and October is filled to the brim with spooky activities and soirees to attend. Most often this month is especially fun for the children, but it doesn’t mean you can’t do a little occasion dressing too. One of my favorite themes to build on is old horror movies. The first in this series is The Mummy. This Boris Karloff role of roles is memorable for the arms-raised-decrepit-bandage-covered-corpse-of-the-pharaoh gliding down booby-trapped passages of a forgotten Egyptian tomb under excavation. You, of course, are much lovelier and fresher, (and alive), but you can channel your inner Nefrititi this Halloween and walk like an Egyptian. Simulate linen bandages wearing the Sachin + Babi tiered tulle top, worn with the shimmering Michael Kors crystal embroidered pants. The Cairo chic vibe is continued with Manolo Blahnik snake skin slides, and jewels fit for the Queen of the Nile. What are you dressing up as this Halloween?
