If there is one man who knows eclectic and edgy it is Alexis Bittar. His love of vintage jewelry sparked his career, (insert fun family story about being given fantastic vintage jewels to repurpose) and he has been mixing and matching styles from across the globe ever since. Spring 2013 is absolutely no exception. Bittar’s own blog gave us a sneak peek of what to expect and as per usual we were not let down. Some of the more wild pieces included African inspired masks made entirely of crystals, and larger than life lucite hoop earrings.

There were also Native American necklaces and a plethora of all things neon. We are particularly inspired by the gorgeous cuff bracelets

and the beautiful lucite floral pieces, like this Calla Lily Brooch

Inspiration for this collection is a mix tape of sorts: citing African, Native American, Psychedelia, 80’s New Wave, and infamous New York hot spots like the Tom Tom Club as the backbone of Alexis' fabulous bejeweled pieces.
