I could not resist the temptation to post photos from the Lanvin Spring 2012 runway show as soon as they appeared live from Paris. Alber Elbaz’s themes are always provocative in that unassuming way; you turn your head or blink your eye and they’ve disappeared, cats and roses for fall replaced by tongue-in-cheek sequined balloons for resort and then serpents and jeweled crucifixes for spring.
In the Garden of Eden that is Paris fashion week will you dare to take the first bite for Lanvin spring 2012?
