The “8th Annual Hats in the Garden” fundraising luncheon was last Wednesday at the beautiful Naples Botanical Garden. Marissa Collections has been busy preparing for this event that kicks of the Naples social season! Since we sponsor the event, we made sure we hat the most magical millinery from Satya Twena, Christine A. Moore, Phillip Treacy, Stephen Jones, and more!
I never knew there were so many different hat shapes and sizes: derby hat, fascinator, cloche, ect. I absolutely loved Marissa’s custom Satya Twena flower headband, the color married perfectly with her L’Wren Scott sheath and nude Lanvin python pumps. We were delighted to attend the champagne reception before the luncheon to see the array of dresses and most of all, HATS! As you can see we all wore a hat unique to our personalities and of course to our dresses! Special thanks to our makeup specialist, Monica, for making us all over with Smashbox cosmetics!
Once we arrived at the lush Naples Botanical Gardens, it was literally a sea of hats. The luncheon room was accented with pink décor and the most gorgeous flowers.
Champagne was flowing as we tried to spot the Who’s Who of Naples. From Oscar to Lanvin, all of our lovely clients were dressed in Marissa’s best.
I can’t wait until next year’s Hat’s in the Garden. Les Trois has the inside scoop and trust us, attendee’s are in for quite the treat! Hat’s Off!
