Structured silhouettes can be simple or extreme and everything in between. Their strong, superstructure can be extremely appealing and eye-catching giving you the opportunity to manipulate the shape of your body. Fall’s runways were stocked with characteristics from this architecturally conceptualized silhouette such as voluminous sleeves, accentuated shoulders, square necklines, monochrome panels, cage-like armor, and geometric panelling.
Some shapes can be angular with something fitted on top and then flow into a roomy shape while others are completely engulfed in hard lines that make the piece body-conscious. It can be a refreshing alternative to the everyday mundane and absolutely a fashion forward approach to styling. Therefore, recalibrate your eyes and welcome the dramatic, elaborate artistry of this trendy silhouette.
One of our fantastic stylists, Carol, has put together three looks that demonstrate both ends of the spectrum when it comes to structure.
The first two looks show simple structure. Two body-conscious, structured silhouettes that accentuate our model, assistant store manager, Olga's figure. Clean lines and bold pops of color round out the look that truly looks exquiste.

The third is an exceptionally dramatic structured silhouette. Very fashion forward, yet feminine, this look has an edgy appeal that hugs the bodice while ballooning into an exaggerated shape.
