Designer’s found their inner flower child for Resort 2012 resulting in bohemian inspired fashions. We saw a plentiful of groovy maxi dresses, fringe ponchos, and caftans.
If I had the chance to attend Woodstock in 1969, I would choose to wear this psychedelic maxi dress from Jean Paul Gaultier Soleil. How great are these colors? My hippie-chic look would not be complete without this Haute Hippie feather vest and a floppy felt hat.
There is more to this bohemian trend than you may think; designers have infused luxury into the clothing (with embellishments) and accessories. To complete my look I chose a vintage turquoise Bochic bead necklace layered with Pellini chain necklace.
Here is a more subdued bohemian look for the everyday. J Brand has these amazing high waisted bell bottom jeans, which you absolutely must pair with sky-high platforms like this one from Miu Miu. Relax in a Michael Kors peasant top, throw on the biggest Tom Ford shades you can find, hope into your VW Beetle and embrace your boho-chic style!
One Love,
