A love for super models past and present may have been the only thing to outshine Zac Posen’s Spring 2013 collection on the runway.Naomi Campbell, among others, walked the catwalk for the designer known for his glamorous yet wearable pieces. Posen showed once again his mastery of the feminine form with the usual body tracing style lines, pleats, peplums, and gathers. There were some successes in separates, like a red skirt suit
and a fabulous cream corset peplum top over wide leg pants.
However, it was his departure from overly frothy tulle gowns that really made the show. Emerald green strapless numbers
brazen red satins and a gorgeous tiered piece on Coco Rocha to close the presentation was, no pun intended, a show stopper.
